![]() ![]() My files are visibly cleaner using Iridient or DXO than Lightroom or Camera Raw. Iridient and DXO cater to those dissatisfied with the big guys, and their efforts are aimed at the rest of the market. RAW software developers have to reverse engineer the demosaicing process, and Adobe and Apple have concentrated on satisfying the Canon/Nikon/Sony triad first and foremost. I use DXO PL5 Elite and Iridient Developer. LR's new masking tools are better than C1.C1 seems to deliver the better image most of the time.C1 has far superior noise reduction than LR, to the point that LR probably shouldn't even be used for that.In the LR workflow, I would need to always include OM Workspace or DxO (once it supports the OM-1) in the workflow. I tried to organize my thoughts on the two options below, could anyone chime in if they've felt similarly, or if I'm missing something? Ideally I'd stay with LR due to the cataloging feature set but I don't like the idea of leaving image quality on the table instead. I have found it handy as a raw converter though. I've looked at C1 and LR as these are the ones I have experience with, but open to all suggestions expect OM Workspace which unfortunately is too slow on my Mac. ![]() ![]() With Fuji, C1 was a no-brainer so wondering if there's something similar for Olympus or m43 in general. Hi everyone, I wanted to ask what is the consensus on the preferred editing software for Olympus cameras? I've come to m43 after adventures with other systems and I'm unfamiliar with what works best here. ![]()
